Converting Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing processes and drive department goals through strong leadership and direction
• Interface with senior plant leadership to communicate production goals on a continuous basis
• Lead safety training, complete accident investigations, and act as a strong safety advocate
• Manage work schedules, counsel and coach employees to exceed team goals, and implement corrective actions
• Manage and measure work for continuous improvement using total quality management concepts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (BA/BS degree preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing supervision
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn business-related systems
• Strong decision-making, priority-setting, and action-oriented tendencies
• Willingness to work various shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry
