Conversion Analyst - Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis and data conversion processes for new clients migrating to the State Street Middle Office platform
• Manage a team of 10-15 members to ensure onboarding goals and project milestones are met
• Create data maps to facilitate data flow from legacy systems to in-house systems
• Participate in conversion testing cycles, including BUAT, CUAT, dress rehearsals, and production go-lives
• Resolve data discrepancies and gaps between legacy presentations and future state models
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and ensure smooth conversion activities
• Work through the full data conversion development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, and implementation

Requirements

• 10-13 years of overall industry experience, with at least 9 years in the financial industry (preferably Investment or Asset Management)
• Strong understanding of Securities, Loans, IBOR/ABOR, and Transaction Management
• Proven expertise in Middle and Back Office client onboarding and data conversion
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external client interfacing
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance, Management, or Business Administration from a premier business school
• Experience with platforms such as Eagle, Eagle Star, PAM, Portia, or CRD
• Knowledge of U.S. Investment Companies Act of 1940 or UCITS
• Coding skills in Visual Basic Applications (VBA), Java, or Macros
