Controls Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for the modification of hardware, software, and electrical control systems.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and IT teams to modify PLC and PC programming.
• Develop and implement solutions to eliminate long-term controls deficiencies and improve equipment reliability.
• Monitor and improve process performance metrics including OEE, cycle time, uptime, and FTT.
• Establish and maintain accurate controls documentation, including electrical schematics.
• Implement preventive actions to ensure stable production processes regarding safety, quality, and cost.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (AS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred).
• 2+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Programming experience with Siemens and Rockwell systems.
• Knowledge of vision systems and robotics.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to work off-shift schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dispensing systems and industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet).
• Knowledge of fastening operations, laser cutting/welding, or gear machining processes.
