About the role

Responsibilities

  • Fix technical problems using principles of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, and physics
  • Troubleshoot equipment within the Maintenance Department to ensure operational efficiency
  • Manage requests for changes to software, logic, information, and controls
  • Maintain electrical documentation including IP addresses, P&ID diagrams, and machine settings
  • Coordinate adherence to NFPA 70e standards for the facility
  • Work with electricians to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems
  • Provide support and training to plant technicians regarding controls network and infrastructure
  • Act as a liaison with the IT department to ensure the reliability of plant systems
  • Assist with identifying, ordering, and setting up spare parts for new equipment

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related field (or 5+ years of experience with a High School Diploma)
  • 2+ years of maintenance or controls experience
  • Hands-on experience with electrical controls and PLCs (specifically Allen Bradley)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Controls, programming, robotics, mechatronics, or networking
  • Working knowledge of electrical schematics, power distribution, motor controls, and industrial control panels
  • Experience using AutoCAD Drawing
