Controls Systems Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using specialized configuration and commissioning tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems
• Respond to warranty calls and provide solutions to resolve building inefficiencies
• Load system-level controller software and perform diagnostics on end devices like sensors and actuators
• Calibrate systems using electronic test equipment
• Complete administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation
• Provide recommendations and quotes to customers to ensure facility efficiency

Requirements

• 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field
• At least 2 years of industry experience in HVAC or servicing electronic/mechanical systems
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems and facilities management systems
• Proficiency with PCs and the ability to program HVAC-related software
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to support mechanics and communicate with customers
