Controls Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the performance of the plant’s PLC software systems, network, electrical drawing systems, and all power systems work.
• Collaborate with the Senior Systems Engineer to promote common systems and leverage scale for future integration.
• Lead PCIS projects and site initiatives to meet business needs, working closely with processing and packing departments.
• Develop relationships with global engineering teams and external vendors to define and capture project scopes.
• Coach and develop the engineering support organization and daily operation leadership.
• Manage training for site resources to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in engineering or a related field (or GED with equivalent related experience).
• Proven experience with PLC programming, specifically RS Logix, Rockwell, or Allen Bradley.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with AutoCAD software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external relationships.
• Ability to influence technicians, managers, and other key resources.
