About the role
Responsibilities
- Repair, configure, and maintain building automation systems (BAS) controlling HVAC, lighting, and other critical functions
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and optimize for energy efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance and perform repairs
- Provide technical support to clients and consult on discovered issues
- Complete service calls and preventative maintenance on existing control systems
- Maintain strong documentation of services performed
Requirements
- Strong understanding of air-conditioning principles and commercial HVAC mechanical equipment
- Expertise in job site safety requirements (WISHA/OSHA, OROSHA/OSHA)
- Two-year degree or equivalent experience in HVAC and control systems
- Experience with Niagara (Tridium, Honeywell, Distech), Siemens (Desigo, Apogee), Johnson Controls (JCI), Alerton, or Trane platforms
