Controls Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with organization policies
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess project compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on project control requirements and best practices
• Work with the quality team to create, update, and maintain compliant quality documentation
• Manage the filing system for construction projects to ensure documents are organized and accessible
• Generate and distribute project reports including status, financial, and safety updates
• Act as a backup for Assistant Project Managers and provide training to new APMs during onboarding
• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate communication
• Coordinate with accounting, procurement, and quality assurance departments for seamless execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Previous experience in project management or construction administration preferred
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, processes, and project controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project management software
• Familiarity with construction safety and quality standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification
• First Aid certification
• CPR certification
