Controls Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects.
• Perform hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and network commissioning.
• Manage project financials, including costs, billings, collections, and change orders.
• Coordinate communication with customers and provide site-specific training for owners/operators.
• Provide work direction and technical assistance to subcontractors, technicians, and designers.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Technical Associates Degree with two years of field experience, or four years of equivalent HVAC industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in the design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to perform work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong personal computer skills.
• Deep knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.
• Experience with project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.
