Controls Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronics systems, including 3-phase motor control circuits
• Utilize knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and power distribution to correct issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and use testing equipment for repairs
• Support production needs and communicate equipment issues to management
• Adhere to plant GMP, sanitation, and food safety (SQF) policies
• Learn Allen Bradley Logix, Factory Talk, and Siemens Series 7 for troubleshooting

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Prior experience in industrial controls and instrumentation
• Experience with PLCs, analog controls, sensors, and VFDs
• Proficiency with electrical testing tools and motor wiring
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Arc Flash Training Certificate
