Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, program, install, test, and commission plant control systems including Delta V, PLC, SCADA, and HMI
• Maintain functional integrity of control systems through troubleshooting, hardware/software updates, and preventive maintenance
• Execute control system changes via the Management of Change (MOC) process
• Develop and enforce control system standards, procedures, and engineering documentation
• Support capital projects through procurement support, system configuration, and commissioning
• Configure and expand data historians and data collection systems to ensure data quality
• Manage preventive maintenance and calibration programs within Maximo
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to operations and maintenance personnel
• Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, and IT/OT teams to support industrial networks and security

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with instrumentation and control systems
• Minimum of 3 years of experience interfacing with contractors
• Strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 40 feet
