About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated machinery, robotics, and manufacturing processes
  • Utilize Embedded Systems principles to integrate control software and hardware
  • Apply Machine Vision (MV) techniques for inspection, guidance, and quality control
  • Conduct plant modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including stamping press lines, to ensure system reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams
  • Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle from concept to production

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Industrial Control System experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Robotics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in PLC and HMI Programming (Allen Bradley, RS Logix)
  • Experience with Fanuc robotics and robotics programming/control
  • Strong practical experience with Machine Vision (MV) applications
  • Proficiency in plant modeling and analysis techniques
  • Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to work any shift, including off-shifts, and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Industrial Cameras (Cognex, Keyence, Matrox, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with simulation tools and techniques
  • Strong background in software algorithm design and implementation
  • Prior experience in stamping environments
  • Master's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Robotics Engineering
