About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems in manufacturing operations
  • Design and modify electrical control circuits and programs
  • Perform engineering tasks on CNC equipment and robots using specialized software and hardware
  • Lead technical problem solving and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing processes
  • Support and train skilled electricians and oversee project installations by contractors
  • Develop and plan electrical projects and maintain electrical equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of Industrial Control System experience
  • Proficiency in PLC and HMI Programming
  • Experience troubleshooting Servo and VFD Systems
  • Knowledge of Industrial Communication Protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, and Ethernet
  • Willingness to work any shift, including off-shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting robotics
  • Knowledge of CNC code
  • Exposure to Siemens, Rockwell, and Fanuc PLC systems
  • Knowledge of Industrial Cameras (Cognex, Keyence, Matrox, etc.)
  • Experience with Safety PLC
