About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues effectively by working cross-functionally with diverse teams throughout the plant
  • Identify and document system vulnerabilities and develop inclusive mitigation plans
  • Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to promote component reuse and consistency
  • Create and implement tests to identify opportunities for design improvements
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or 4+ years of equivalent experience
  • Ability to work off shift on a full-time basis
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of technical knowledge of electrical/control systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Control Architectures including Allen Bradley (PLC), Fanuc/ABB (Robotics), and Cognex/Keyence (Vision)
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and high voltage power distribution
  • Knowledge of servo motors, motion control, and drives
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with high autonomy
