Controlling Operations, CF - Kuala Lumpur Hub Finance Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Finance Business Partners across GBUs to provide seamless support to Business Leaders
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and share results with Budget Owners
• Prepare monthly commentary to explain variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts
• Develop Opex and headcount forecasts for designated areas
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting forecast achievement
• Track headcount, vacancy rates, and key drivers of change on a monthly basis
• Approve project spend and ensure proper budgeting and compliance
• Continuously identify gaps and recommend new ways of working to improve efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and all internal control requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of diversified financial controlling experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups, macros, etc.)
• Proficiency in Power BI
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a complex matrix and international environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA and/or CPA certification
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or public accounting
• Experience with Commercial Finance and Gross to Net
• Proficiency in TM1 and SAP
• Knowledge of IFRS 16, CAPEX tracking, and variance analysis
