Controlling Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between plant controlling teams and regional management through data analytics and financial reporting
• Review financial data and analyze variances against plans and forecasts
• Support month-end close processes and prepare comprehensive financial reports
• Consolidate financial data from US and Mexico plant locations
• Communicate effectively with plants, headquarters, and controlling teams
• Update forecasts and support various planning activities
• Perform ad hoc financial studies, including ROI, cost analysis, and trend identification
• Prepare presentations and reports for management review
• Support strategic projects such as pricing initiatives and loss-maker analysis
• Ensure data accuracy and alignment with accounting and shared services

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience in controlling or financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of current accounting and audit principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and macros
• Ability to analyze variances and support month-end closing activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the automotive manufacturing industry
• Proficiency with SAP software
