Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in the US and Canada, leading a team of 6 employees
• Manage the financial month-end closing process to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Review monthly budget/forecast to actual variance and prepare quantitative/qualitative analysis
• Coordinate year-end audits and tax returns, acting as liaison for external auditors and consultants
• Implement and oversee SOX compliance measures and new departmental policies
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, HR, and IT to support company growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• 4+ years of people management experience, preferably managing other managers
• High technical accounting skills with strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency environments
• Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or other relevant professional certification
• Public company or public accounting experience
• Experience in a global adtech, tech, or digital media environment
• Proficiency with NetSuite, ADP, or Salesforce
