Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with a target of a 5-business-day close
• Prepare and review GAAP or IFRS-compliant financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Design, implement, and maintain effective internal control frameworks
• Coordinate external audits and prepare PBC schedules
• Partner with FP&A and leadership on annual budgets, forecasting, and capital allocation
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• 2+ years of accounting leadership or team management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Enterprise
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Ability to work remotely during U.S. business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA
• Experience with ERP implementations or financial system migrations
• Industry experience in SaaS, Professional Services, Real Estate, or Technology
• Familiarity with BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
