Controller or Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the finance team, including staff responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Accounting
• Manage all accounting-related activities, including budget management and financial analysis
• Manage available cash, debt obligations, and annual audits
• Prepare financial reports, grants reports, and tax reports
• Participate in university committee work and collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
• Significant experience in accounting and financial management
• Proficiency with accounting software
• Fluent use of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a relevant field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Experience in grants management
• Experience working within the higher education industry
