Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the global accounting function, owning the integrity of financials end-to-end.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all entities.
• Oversee the general ledger, consolidation, and financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Drive automation and system improvements within NetSuite and other core accounting workflows.
• Oversee accounting for token activity, ensuring alignment between on-chain activity and financial reporting.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and external partners to lead annual audits and compliance.
• Design and implement scalable accounting processes, controls, and policies.
• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and in-house leadership.
• CPA certification is required.
• Strong expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven experience leading accounting in a multi-entity, high-growth environment.
• Deep experience with NetSuite and scaling close processes.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a high-growth tech, fintech, or crypto-native company.
• Exposure to digital asset accounting, token models, or on-chain activity.
• Experience building accounting processes from scratch and leading audits.
• Familiarity with global tax and compliance considerations.
