About the Company

Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients. Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation.

Responsibilities

• Own core accounting operations end-to-end, including monthly close, GL, AP/AR, payroll, tax, and technical accounting
• Design and document the controls, policies, and processes of a best-in-class accounting function
• Drive technical accounting decisions across revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, multi-entity reporting, and capitalization policies
• Evaluate and implement the tools and systems (ERP, AP/AR, payroll, and adjacent platforms)
• Partner with Strategic Finance to produce the monthly reporting package, board materials, and investor reporting
• Work with Legal and Operations to structure contracts, pricing, and financial controls

Requirements

• 5–10 years of accounting experience
• Big 4 or equivalent audit experience
• Experience implementing modern financial systems and ERPs (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Ramp, Bill, Rippling, or similar)
• Deep working knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience standing up an accounting function from scratch at an early-stage or hyper-scaling company
