Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
• Monitor performance metrics such as DOC Variance, CIT, Warranty Credit, and Posting efficiency
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and automotive industry financial practices
• Proficiency in automotive accounting software such as CDK or Reynolds and Reynolds
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in the automotive sector
• Understanding of automotive supply chain and manufacturing processes
