Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger, month-end close, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review budget reports and forecasts
• Prepare corporate required reports timely and accurately
• Supervise accounting staff and provide mentorship and training
• Maintain internal controls and assist with audit processes
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial objectives
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience as a controller in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with accounting software, Word, Excel, and financial reporting tools
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health settings
