Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and quarterly close across multiple legal entities and business lines
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable the accounting team, including internal and offshore staff
• Own the firm’s internal control environment and coordinate quarterly SOX control reporting
• Partner with the broker-dealer subsidiary’s Chief Compliance Officer and outside FINOP on audits
• Coordinate the firm’s 401(k) plan audit in partnership with the CFO
• Oversee quarterly management-fee billing and receivables processes
• Serve as a liaison to the parent company for tax preparation and cash-flow management
• Lead the firm’s accounting systems transformation, including migration to Workday

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting or external audit experience
• Direct people-management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with accounting ERP systems (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Acumatica)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, RIA, or asset management
• ERP implementation or system-conversion experience
• Experience with Power BI or comparable BI tools
• Familiarity with SS&C/Advent products, Concur, or AvidXchange
