Advantage Group is a retained search firm based out of the San Francisco Bay Area specializing in senior and executive level placements with stable and rapidly growing clients nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations for a stable construction firm
  • Oversee job costing, P&L, and project budgets
  • Handle Union Payroll and Fringe Benefits
  • Manage incident reporting and management
  • Oversee insurance related applications, audits, and claims
  • Coordinate company related tax preparation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller within a commercial construction company
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with complex construction accounting software, preferably Foundation
  • Deep understanding of construction finance including job costing and project budgets
  • Experience with Union Payroll and Fringe Benefits
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • AA or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
