Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations for a stable construction firm
- Oversee job costing, P&L, and project budgets
- Handle Union Payroll and Fringe Benefits
- Manage incident reporting and management
- Oversee insurance related applications, audits, and claims
- Coordinate company related tax preparation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller within a commercial construction company
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with complex construction accounting software, preferably Foundation
- Deep understanding of construction finance including job costing and project budgets
- Experience with Union Payroll and Fringe Benefits
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- AA or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
