About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute design effectiveness (DE) and operating effectiveness (OE) testing for Data and AI Governance, including data quality and ethical AI controls.
  • Develop and document test steps, scripts, and workpapers aligned with approved risk frameworks.
  • Provide risk and control advisory support to business and technology partners regarding control design and process improvements.
  • Lead end-to-end process walkthroughs to document flows, control descriptions, and key risks.
  • Analyze governance artifacts such as data lineage, metadata, and AI model lifecycle documentation.
  • Identify, document, and communicate control deficiencies and root cause analyses to stakeholders.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify risk ownership, evidence expectations, and remediation approaches.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in control testing, risk management, audit, governance, or advisory functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing control design and operating effectiveness testing.
  • Required professional certification: CISA, CRISC, or CGRC.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical and governance artifacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for issue documentation and advisory discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Data Governance, AI Governance, Model Risk Management, or Technology Risk.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML model lifecycles and data management concepts.
  • Professional certifications such as CDMP or AIGP.
