Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow lockout-tag out, confined space, and other safety procedures
• Perform program changes and monitor PLC and PMS systems
• Troubleshoot Controls, Process Controllers, Control Cabinets, and Power Supplies
• Perform skilled maintenance on material handling equipment
• Complete work orders and document activities in MP2
• Repair low and high voltage controls including fuses, relays, and wiring
• Read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Use electrical diagnostic equipment for AC/DC testing

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience with PLCs and conveyors
• Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (Allen/Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Knowledge of Automatic Identification systems
• Strong technical capability with PC software and hardware
• Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
