Control Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, program, install, and maintain campus-wide automation and control systems including HVAC and environmental monitoring
• Provide daily operational support and troubleshooting for control systems to ensure reliability and data integrity
• Program and configure PLC/PAC controllers and associated automation hardware and software
• Develop, execute, and document validation protocols (IQ and OQ) for automation systems in compliance with Quality Assurance
• Maintain accurate system documentation, including source code, as-built drawings, and system architecture in alignment with GxP and FDA requirements
• Ensure cybersecurity, high availability, and reliable backup/recovery for business-critical automation systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 2 years of relevant experience in control systems or automation
• Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
• Knowledge of GxP/FDA regulations and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Inductive Automation platforms (Ignition) and SQL
• PLC programming experience using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) Studio 5000
• Background in industrial networking and Windows system administration
• Software development experience with web-based or scripting languages such as Python or HTML
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for control panel design
