About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, program, install, and maintain campus-wide automation and control systems including HVAC, environmental monitoring, and energy plant distribution.
- Provide daily operational support and troubleshooting for automation systems to ensure reliability, data integrity, and minimal downtime.
- Program and configure PLC/PAC controllers and associated automation hardware and software.
- Develop, execute, and document validation protocols (IQ and OQ) for automation systems in compliance with Quality Assurance.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, including source code, as-built drawings, and system architecture in alignment with GxP and FDA requirements.
- Manage small to mid-sized projects and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience in control systems or automation.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Knowledge of GxP/FDA regulations and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Inductive Automation platforms (Ignition) and SQL.
- PLC programming experience using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) Studio 5000.
- Background in industrial networking and Windows system administration.
- Software development experience with scripting languages such as Python or HTML.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for control panel design.
