Control Specialist – Electrical Systems

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply customer specifications for high-power and high-voltage transformers
• Develop and update purchasing documents and bills of materials for transformer construction
• Prepare and validate technical content for transformer instruction manuals
• Provide technical support to electrical, mechanical, and project management teams
• Act as the primary liaison between Hitachi Energy and control/monitoring system suppliers
• Support production lines and in-service departments with technical expertise
• Identify scope changes and provide accurate cost and time estimations
• Collaborate with the supply chain to review vendor documentation and evaluate proposals
• Ensure compliance with all applicable external and internal regulations and guidelines

Requirements

• Technical or Electrical Engineering degree
• Proven electrical technical expertise
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English
• Valid work authorization for Canada
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and solve complex problems
