About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform control/command engineering activities ranging from functional specification to detailed architecture and interface design for rolling stock systems.
  • Design low-voltage and subsystem components that meet specific client requirements.
  • Provide Interface Control Documents (ICD) for all participating subsystems.
  • Manage change requests (CR) related to your assigned function.
  • Support supplier interface testing, PC testing, and perform tuning on test benches and actual trains.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by following standard methodologies, processes, and development plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback on software, schematics, and subsystems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering environment.
  • Background in Electrical engineering, Electromechanical engineering, or Automation (PLC).
  • Practical experience in software design and development using IEC61131-3 languages or modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink or Controlbuild.
  • Knowledge of V-cycle design processes, including Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) considerations.
  • Understanding of industrial communication networks and topologies, including Ethernet, MVB, and Serial interfaces.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-site, international, and matrix organization.
