Control Centre Advisor

Responsibilities

• Act as a central point of contact for cross-functional teams regarding best practices and problem resolution
• Provide actionable insights to stakeholders to mitigate risks and align activities with strategic goals
• Offer guidance on supply chain processes, systems, and tools
• Assist in designing and optimizing the operational control centre structure
• Support the development of workflows, escalation protocols, and real-time monitoring systems
• Track KPIs such as inventory levels, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency
• Identify bottlenecks in workflows and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to identify training materials and SOPs
• Document lessons learned and best practices throughout the transition process

Requirements

• Grade 12 / N3 Technical
• Higher National diploma in Supply Chain or related discipline (NQF6) or B-degree (NQF7)
• Valid SA Drivers Licence
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or control centre environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of project management principles and analytical frameworks
• Knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and transactional sourcing
• Understanding of safety and sustainable supply chain practices
