Control Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Embed "security and compliance by design" across Tech Business Units to ensure risks and controls are managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct Digital & Tech Risk Assessments (DTRA) for new tech products, End User Developed (EUD) solutions, and RPA bots.
• Facilitate risk identification discussions covering operational, product, and strategic risks within the business unit.
• Monitor deliverable quality and ensure adherence to ITMS, local SOPs, and project PQPs using a risk-based approach.
• Support readiness for external inspections (FDA, EMEA, tax authorities), internal audits, and manage Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs).
• Participate in Architect Review Board and Cyber Risk Assessment meetings to align architectural decisions with security and compliance principles.
• Lead initiatives to simplify and automate risk and compliance workflows via the Enterprise GRC platform.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Risk Management, Quality Assurance, or Compliance.
• Proven background within the Pharmaceutical or Consumer Healthcare industry.
• Strong awareness of regulatory trends and standards, including NIST, ISO27001, and GxP (FDA 21 CFR Part 210/211 and MHRA).
• Knowledge of Sox (Sarbanes-Oxley) and privacy regulations such as GDPR and EDPB guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience specifically within the Digital and Tech risk management space.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CPA, CISSP, or CISM.
