About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure machinery reliability in accordance with safety and quality requirements through best maintenance practices
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial control systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC drives, servo motors, and motion control systems
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities for control and drive systems
  • Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Recommend improvements for obsolete systems and plan migrations
  • Support safety system validation, including safety PLCs and emergency circuits
  • Maintain technical documentation, electrical drawings, and control schematics
  • Provide technical training and guidance to maintenance technicians
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronic engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical controls, servos, and AC/DC drives
  • Proficiency with PLCs, pneumatics, and communication protocols
  • Experience with measurement and control equipment and techniques
  • Proven experience in Project Management and leadership roles
  • Background in the automotive or metalworking industry is preferred
