Contracts Sr. Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex contractual engagements, risk mitigation, and negotiations for global defense and military customers
• Collaborate with sales, bids and proposals, program management, and finance teams to support proposal development and contract drafting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for pre and post-contract-related matters with internal stakeholders and customers
• Ensure compliance with company and government procurement policies, procedures, and requirements
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and contract risk summaries
• Perform contract management activities related to execution, order acceptance, and order entry
• Assist in developing and improving contract operations, including template and playbook maintenance

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in contracting, with at least 3+ years in Government contracting (preferably in the Defense industry)
• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field (or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
• Advanced understanding of contract provisions, terminology, and risk mitigation
• Strong understanding of Government, Defense, and OEM procurement
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20% annually
• Ability to possess or obtain a NATO secret clearance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, CRM, and CLM tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong negotiation skills and mastery of contract drafting
• Excellent communication, time management, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, independent environment
