Contracts & Pricing Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting of terms and conditions, cost and pricing analysis, and risk mitigation for aerospace and defense contract responses.
• Provide contracting expertise and lead negotiations for aircraft follow-on support services, training, and maintenance contracts.
• Act as the primary interface with customer contracting organizations, including Government of India defense institutions.
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer legally binding contractual instruments for all business commitments.
• Partner with Boeing US program and contracting counterparts to develop business unit strategies and achieve goals.
• Analyze risks, issues, and opportunities within contract terms and present mitigation plans to management.
• Support the negotiation and administration of countertrade offset programs in India.
• Perform compliance activities, including policy development and system/tool deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of related work experience in contracts or pricing.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, for effective communication with global counterparts.
• Deep understanding of Defense Acquisition Procedure (DAP) and Defense Procurement Manual (DPM) of the Ministry of Defense, Government of India.
• Ability to interpret complex contract terms and convey local implications to international stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA combined with an Engineering degree.
• Experience working with multi-national companies within the aerospace and defense sectors.
