Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Accountable for successful management of projects, ensuring targets for safety, time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction are met
• Manage the Company’s obligations and rights under the terms of the contract
• Act as a leader of HSQ&E, promoting high standards of health, safety, and environmental management
• Recruit and develop operational teams to meet current and future demands
• Work closely with the Commercial Manager to align commercial and operational matters
• Resolve operational and technical issues at a project level
• Develop and establish excellent working relationships with Clients and Stakeholders
• Lead people responsibilities including Performance & Development Reviews and coaching
• Ensure robust contract and delivery programmes are produced, including design and procurement

Requirements

• Experienced Gas or Pipeline Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager
• Experience with NEC form of contract
• Proven track record of successful project delivery from start to finish
• Experience managing high value projects or portfolios
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Full UK driving license
• Willingness to travel weekly and lodge where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with National Grid, Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, or Scotia Gas Networks
