About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic procurement and contract advice for large-scale construction projects
  • Support the development and implementation of contracting strategies using various privately funded delivery models
  • Develop contract structures for main delivery strategies, including multi-packaging scenarios on complex projects
  • Provide end-to-end procurement services and specialist contract advice to private sector clients
  • Manage and update internal contract team trackers and review proposal documentation
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with project teams, clients, and key advisors
  • Coordinate with technical, legal, and commercial/financial professional team members

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry or contract services for large-scale capital projects
  • Degree or equivalent in construction or a related field of study
  • Proven experience working in multi-contract environments and across various procurement/contract delivery routes
  • Strong knowledge of various contract forms used for construction project delivery
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to engage effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the development and procurement of GMP, Lump Sum, or similar project-financed projects
  • Experience in contract development, including drafting bespoke schedules and reviewing contract documents
  • Experience implementing contracting strategies, including risk identification, quantification, and allocation
  • Background in supporting contract administration across sectors such as healthcare, real estate, or retrofits
