About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure all contractual requirements are met according to terms and conditions
- Execute procurement contracting strategies for large, complex data center construction projects
- Serve as the first line of communication with site stakeholders on commercial issues
- Perform prequalification checks on potential tenderers and manage onboarding
- Issue Requests for Proposal (RFP) and manage the tender process
- Draft contract documents and manage execution between client and contractor
- Review and advise on contractual notices including variation claims, extension of time, and final account negotiations
- Present proposals to client stakeholders and senior management via PowerPoint
Requirements
- Professional or tertiary qualification in engineering or construction
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, contracts management, or construction project management
- Experience within a Data Centre or similar technical environment preferred
- Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management qualifications such as RICS
