About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of contract management professionals supporting proprietary space and ground programs
- Develop and implement complex contractual solutions to manage risk during proposal, negotiation, and execution phases
- Manage the capture and execution of government contracts while acting as a subject matter expert
- Implement impactful policies and procedures and set ambitious operational goals
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional Boeing teams
- Drive process improvements to support the success of the satellite business
Requirements
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience with government proposals, including TINA compliance
- 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and administering various contract types
- Experience in Satellite or Space Programs
- Experience with DFARS compliance
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading proposal development and negotiating government contracts
- 5+ years of experience with commercial contracts
- 5+ years of experience with classified government contracts
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
