About the Company

Red 6 is an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) technology startup leading the way in synthetic air combat training. Their primary technology enables pilots to simulate the cognitive challenges of flying while accessing realistic, scalable training in dynamic outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts from proposal review through award, administration, and closeout
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and administer agreements including prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements
  • Evaluate and advise on project risks regarding costing terms, intellectual property, and scope requirements
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations (FAR, DFARS), legal requirements, and company policies
  • Maintain audit files for each contract, including correspondence, modifications, and payment schedules
  • Provide contract briefs, summaries, and training to Program Managers and Executives
  • Serve as a counterpart to Government Contracting Officers and procurement professionals
  • Analyze material estimates, costs, and delivery schedules for inclusion in proposals

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of government and commercial contracting experience
  • Proven track record with advanced technology projects from R&D to prototype
  • Experience supporting cost proposals, negotiating terms, and administering subcontracts
  • Knowledge of data rights concepts, intellectual property protections, and marking requirements
  • Working knowledge of FSS, SBIR, and Prime Vendor Contracts
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • NCMA Certifications (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM)
  • Experience as a contracting officer or contract specialist for a government agency
  • Advanced degree in contract management, business administration, accounting, or engineering
  • Experience with Non-FAR instruments such as Other Transaction Agreements, Grants, or Cooperative Agreements
  • Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and international aviation-related contract management
