Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and manage agreements within a specified category throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Drive optimization of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Management of Change and ongoing relationship management for all agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers while aligning with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance and troubleshoot contract or performance-related issues.
• Ensure contract compliance, utilization, and transactional efficiency through Requisition to Pay (RtP) processes.
• Develop market expertise to identify efficiencies by analyzing leakage, overheads, and third-party markups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant experience stream with a minimum 6 CGPA.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in contracting, negotiation, vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience contracting within Transportation & Logistics (rail/road/marine/aviation) or Warehousing.
• Demonstrated experience managing a minimum annual spend of $1M.
• Strong negotiation skills with proven commercial acumen and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Procurement experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• International business exposure and experience with competitive bids, RFIs, and auctions.
• Strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and P2P processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement technologies.
• Ability to lead through informal authority and influence at all organizational levels.
