About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, negotiate, and execute contracts for Equipment & Materials (E&M) across APAC, EMEA, and North America
- Drive value and efficiency through end-to-end category management, including supplier identification and relationship management
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting Statements of Work, global agreements, and vendor contracts
- Conduct spend management and market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost consolidation and supplier base rationalization
- Ensure all acquisitions meet regulatory, trade, and compliance standards while optimizing total system cost (TCO)
- Handle complete Procure to Pay (P2P) activities and operations for assigned projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant experience stream (minimum 6 CGPA)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contracting, negotiations, or strategic sourcing
- Proven experience in the Oil & Gas, Power Plants, petrochemicals, or chemical manufacturing industries
- Expertise in managing E&M categories, such as OEM, MRO, or major equipment (Static/Rotary/Packages)
- Strong understanding of market drivers and the ability to provide value-added commercial support
- Ability to work onsite at the Bengaluru, Whitefield office 5 days a week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing global contracts across multiple regions (APAC/EMEA/Americas)
- Technical understanding of product specifications, manufacturing processes, and metallurgy
- Knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, and logistics
- Proficiency in Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills regarding Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles
