Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Draft, analyze, negotiate, and complete complex commercial transactions with the company’s vendors, including SaaS and IP licensing agreements
• Propose and develop scalable solutions to improve contracting efficiency
• Collaborate with business units and legal team members to streamline contract management processes and identify potential risks
• Partner with Research, Product, Finance, Security, Business Operations, and Procurement teams to deliver strategic counsel
• Practice across multiple legal areas to support a growing organization

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced technology startup environment
• Ability to manage complex contractual matters and prioritize competing deadlines
• Understanding of organizational mission and when to be flexible in negotiations
• Preference for concise explanations over legalese
• Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams building frontier technologies
• "Doer" mentality with a willingness to handle diverse tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of related contract management experience
• 3+ years supporting technology transactions, vendor engagements, or partnerships
• Substantive knowledge of software agreements, reseller agreements, and strategic partnerships
• Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills
• Proven ability to build strong relationships across organizational levels
