Contracts Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Apply playbook standards to review, redline, and edit contract language
• Identify contractual options and strategies to resolve negotiation roadblocks under US legal frameworks
• Liaise with client in-house counsel for contract approvals
• Facilitate negotiations and act as liaison across stakeholders
• Communicate contractual risks and obligations, including under US law
• Manage pipeline of contract reviews and stakeholder updates
• Maintain contract records and documentation
• Develop templates aligned with US legal standards
• Support vendor governance and risk management

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized institution
• Active membership in good standing of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines
• 4+ years of contract review experience
• Strong understanding of US commercial contract law
• Experience with MSAs, SaaS, data privacy, and licensing agreements
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work US Central Time (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT) hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting US clients
• Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA
