Contracts and Legal Systems Manager

Responsibilities

• Operate and administer the company’s contract management system as the key point of contact for the business
• Coordinate and assist in developing policies, procedures, and systems to support efficient contract development and analysis
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of day-to-day contracts including NDAs, MSAs, consulting agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, and clinical trial agreements
• Negotiate to conclude agreements efficiently while meeting client needs and safeguarding company interests
• Manage outside vendors and supervise outside counsel as required
• Create, improve, and implement applicable forms, templates, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in contract negotiation, administration, or management
• Experience working with pharmaceutical and life sciences companies
• Familiarity with design and administration of contract management systems such as Ariba, Coupa, Concur, or NetSuite
• Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education/training
• Experience as a corporate paralegal or legal support analyst at life sciences companies or law firms
