Contracts and Compliance Attorney

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the contract review process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms
• Lead vendor management through analysis of performance, contractual obligations, and cybersecurity risks
• Manage vendor and contract administration databases and workflow systems
• Conduct legal and compliance research to support regulatory initiatives and risk mitigation
• Support the preparation of regulatory filings for HAI Group companies
• Review, interpret, and disseminate regulatory updates across business operations
• Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries from regulatory bodies and internal departments

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited institution
• Bar admission in good standing
• 3+ years of experience in a comparable position, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Expertise in contract lifecycle management and risk mitigation
• Experience managing regulatory communications and insurance filings
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of third-party and vendor risk management related to cybersecurity and AI
• Understanding of insurance compliance programs and governance structures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
