About the role
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the contract review process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms
- Lead vendor management through analysis of performance, contractual obligations, and cybersecurity risks
- Manage vendor and contract administration databases and workflow systems
- Conduct legal and compliance research to support regulatory initiatives and risk mitigation
- Support the preparation of regulatory filings for HAI Group companies
- Review, interpret, and disseminate regulatory updates across business operations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries from regulatory bodies and internal departments
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited institution
- Bar admission in good standing
- 3+ years of experience in a comparable position, preferably in insurance or financial services
- Expertise in contract lifecycle management and risk mitigation
- Experience managing regulatory communications and insurance filings
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of third-party and vendor risk management related to cybersecurity and AI
- Understanding of insurance compliance programs and governance structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
