About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the Contracts Manager in reviewing, analyzing, drafting, and negotiating customer, subcontractor, and vendor agreements
  • Complete customer prequalification, vendor set-ups, and credit applications
  • Prepare contract redlines and coordinate negotiations with business partners
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies and risk management standards
  • Maintain accurate contract records within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
  • Track contract status, approvals, execution requirements, and renewal dates
  • Evaluate contractual provisions including indemnification, liability, insurance, and payment terms
  • Review insurance requirements and coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of contract templates and clause libraries
  • Serve as a contract liaison between Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Executive Leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, management, legal operations, or procurement
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles and risk allocation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CLM systems (e.g., Agiloft, Ironclad, DocuSign CLM)
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 15–20% annually
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to commute to the Downers Grove, Illinois office
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Experience within construction, industrial services, logistics, or supply chain industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • Notary Public certification in the State of Illinois
