About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the administration and management of project contracts in accordance with contractual requirements and internal governance
- Assist in the interpretation and application of FIDIC contract provisions and obligations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, correspondence, registers, and documentation
- Prepare, review, and process variations, claims, extension of time submissions, and contractual notices
- Monitor contractual deliverables, obligations, and key milestones to ensure compliance
- Coordinate with commercial, legal, engineering, and project delivery teams on contract-related matters
- Identify potential contractual risks and support mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to project procedures and corporate governance requirements
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in contract administration within major rail or infrastructure projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Practical experience and working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
- Proven experience supporting the management of variations, claims, and change control processes
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and stakeholders
- Experience on complex, high-value infrastructure projects is highly desirable
- Middle East experience, particularly within the UAE, is considered an advantage
