About the role
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end contract performance across the IDIQ and all Task Orders, including cost, schedule, quality, staffing, and customer satisfaction
- Lead phased incoming transitions of legacy contracts with zero disruption to customer operations
- Author and maintain the Program Management Plan and Security Plan, and deliver Monthly Contract Status Reports (MCSR)
- Directly supervise Task Order Leads, Solutions Architects, the Transition Manager, and PMO support staff
- Drive execution of the customer's Agile Community of Practice (CoP) Maturity Plan
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer and technical representatives
- Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure all teammates operate within contract terms and Amentum standards
- Ensure compliance with NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, and Risk Management Framework requirements
Requirements
- 16+ years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in program management of federal IT or systems engineering contracts
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business
- At least five years of specialized experience in Federal Government enterprise system management
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Demonstrated experience leading contract transitions and consolidating legacy efforts
- Working fluency in Agile delivery at the program level
- Hands-on familiarity with AWS-hosted mission applications and SecDevOps toolchains (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins)
- Proven track record managing CDRLs, monthly status reporting, and mixed CLIN structures (FFP and CPFF-LOE)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Business
- Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CPM)
- Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher AWS certification
- Prior experience supporting an Intelligence Community customer in a Program Management role
